从流体与海洋结构物的非线性作用机理出发,深入探索相关物理机制,优化结构物及其附体结构与流体的相互作用,开发创新更优越的海洋结构新概念,提高海洋浮体的总体运动性能,保证系统安全性,并降低整个项目预算。当前研究包括:

- 浮式风机与波浪能发电装备
- 浮体结构动力学、船舶耐波性和操纵性
- 基于雷达和浮标的极端波浪预报
Our research interests have been focusing on understanding the fundamental physics of nonlinear interaction between floating structure and wind, wave, or current. We believe these understandings will help us to design better floating structure concepts with excellent global performance and higher efficiency. In particular, we are researching on:
- Research and development of novel deepsea floater concepts
- Nonlinear wave-wave and wave-structure interaction
- Floating wind turbine, wave energy converter
- Dynamics of floating structures,seakeeping and maneuvering of ships
- Extreme wave forecast and prediction based on Radar and Buoy
